摘要: Binding proteins for the insulin-like growth factors (IGF-I and IGF-II) are increasingly being recognized as modulators of IGF actions in both inhibitory stimulatory ways. At least three distinct classes binding protein thought to exist, differing their primary structures characteristics, although all able bind IGF-I IGF-II. This review outlines purification characterization that have been identified date, describes regulation production levels circulation. Current views on potential biological roles also discussed.
