摘要: IceCube has reported the detection of a diffuse TeV-PeV neutrino emission, for which flat spectrum radio quasars (FSRQs) have been proposed to be candidate sources. Here we assume that flux from FSRQs is proportional their gamma-ray ones, and obtain gamma-ray/neutrino ratio by Fermi-LAT measurement detected IceCube. We apply this individual hence predict flux. find large fraction northern sky in point source search predicted above upper limit; sample stacking neutrinos IceCube, stacked even larger than limit orders magnitude. Therefore searches, combined with observations, already rejects as main sources IceCube-detected neutrinos: can only account <10% (4%) flux, according searches whole (northern) sky. The derived neutrino/gamma-ray <<1, also implying emission cannot produced secondary leptons photons pion production processes. caveat assumptions discussed.
