摘要: Pancreatic pseudocysts represent the majority of cystic lesions, and can usually be differentiated from neoplasms, which have malignant potential. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) help in solving diagnostic dilemmas. When ERCP demonstrates cyst communication with pancreatic duct, diagnosis pseudocyst is secure. There are exceptions, however, as reported these two case reports. A retrospective chart review was conducted patients undergoing distal pancreatectomy 2008 to 2009 for lesions communicating main duct on ERCP. Both were women (ages 37 42) a history chronic abdominal pain pancreatitis.
