摘要: Sugarcane-breeding programs take at least 12 years to develop new commercial cultivars. Molecular markers offer a possibility study the genetic architecture of quantitative traits in sugarcane, and they may be used marker-assisted selection speed up artificial selection. Although performance sugarcane progenies breeding are commonly evaluated across range locations harvest years, many QTL detection methods ignore two- three-way interactions between QTL, harvest, location. In this work, strategy for multi-harvest-location trial data, based on interval mapping mixed models, is proposed applied map effects segregating progeny from biparental cross pre-commercial Brazilian cultivars, two three consecutive years cane yield (tonnes per hectare), sugar fiber percent, sucrose content. model, we have included appropriate (co)variance structures modeling heterogeneity correlation non-genetic residual effects. Forty-six QTLs were found: 13 yield, 14 11 8 addition, by location, location interaction significant all (30 showed some interaction, 16 none). Our results contribute better understanding complex related biomass production content sugarcane.
