Kinetics of the Fischer–Tropsch reaction in fixed-bed reactor over a nano-structured Fe–Co–Ce catalyst supported with SiO 2

摘要: Abstract The kinetic of carbon monoxide hydrogenation over the SiO 2 supported nano-structured Fe–Co–Ce catalyst was studied in a fixed-bed reactor under conditions as follows: temperature 523.15–603.15 K, pressure 2–10 bar, H /CO feed ratio 1:1 and gas hourly space velocity 4500 h −1 . Characterization both precursor calcined catalysts carried out using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) specific surface area measurements. 35 rate equations for CO consumption were derived based on various mechanisms, Langmuir-Hinshelwood-Houngen-Watson (LHHW) Eley–Rideal type equation. discrimination models parameters estimation by data measured this study. Finally, best fitted model (FT-XI) from kinetics model. In determining step is formation CH monomer activation energy obtained 41.14 kJ/mol.
