摘要: Species of the genus Gynandropaa within family Dicroglossidae are typical spiny frogs whose taxonomic status has long been in doubt. We used integrative methods, involving morphological and molecular analyses, to elucidate phylogenetic relationships, determine identities geographic distribution each valid species. obtained DNA sequence data 5 species (complete sequences mitochondrial NADH dehydrogenase subunit 2 [ND2] gene, 890 bp 12S rRNA 16S partial sequences) from 37 localities (including topotypes described species) constructed Bayesian maximum-likelihood trees examine patterns phylogeography. A total 28 variables were taken on 624 specimens. Three clades with clear recognized: clade C (from south-western Sichuan Province central Yunnan Province), E (western Guizhou eastern Province) W southern Province). Integrating characteristics information, W, represent yunnanensis, G. phrynoides sichuanensis, respectively. draw following conclusions: (i) taxon phrynoides, formerly evaluated as a junior synonym is revalidated herein at rank species; (ii) liui sichuanensis; (iii) yunnanensis while bourreti probably subspecies range Vietnam Province. This study clears up provides important information for understanding evolution conservation these frogs.
