Blood lactate as prognostic indicator of survival in patients with acute myocardial infarction.

摘要: Serial measurements of arterial blood lactate were compared with established hemodynamic, respiratory, and metabolic as prognostic indicators survival or fatality in 28 patients acute myocardial infarction complicated by heart failure and/or cardiogenic shock. Measurements at the time admission, maximal response to therapy, 4 h prior discharge onset agonal period. Blood was only measurement which consistently separated survivors from fatalities.
