摘要: Although most studies on the ubiquitous enzyme carbonic anhydrase (CA) have indicated its significant role in plants to facilitate diffusion of CO2 site inorganic carbon fixation, it is becoming increasingly likely that isoforms also diverse unexplored functions plant cells. This review lays emphasis additional roles CA associated with many physiological, biochemical and structural changes metabolism. The presented findings revealed essential adjustment both abiotic biotic agents developmental stimuli. However, sometimes difficult separate non-photosynthetic from photosynthetic-related CAs during post-stress impaired metabolism, preventive outcome might be due effect these enzymes improvement photosynthetic capacity. Finally, taking into account experimental evidence, direct indirect functional mitigating negative effects environmental conditions are presented.
