摘要: Abstract Development of fast and energy-efficient spintronic devices requires novel nanoscaled materials with controllable magnetic properties. Here we show that the introduction an ultrathin W interlayer between Co Ru in Ru/Co/Ru films enables to preserve perpendicular anisotropy (PMA) dramatically reduce coercive force size domains. We find Ru/Co/W/Ru up 0.35 nm nominal thickness have robust PMA. The observed formation a dendritic domain structure small domains having homochiral Neel walls is indicator interfacial Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction appearing trilayers asymmetrical interfaces. inversion-symmetry-broken are potential host for nucleation manipulation non-trivial spin textures like chiral skyrmions.
