摘要: Bridge life cycle maintenance costs can be estimated more accurately if the deteriorating and maintaining process simulated objectively. This paper first proposed a reliabilitybased model for prediction of deterioration. The performance bridge elements was quantified by reliability index. A stochastic approach then introduced probabilities what action should taken at any time point determined. Afterwards, associated with different actions were summarized from historical records. Thus, cost element as sum all incurred over its lifespan. Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) finally applied to generate probability distribution estimation. Expansion joint an example demonstrate framework model. Likewise, in turn, evaluate whole bridge.
