摘要: Sixty pregnant women with clinical signs of rubella and specific antibodies were studied between January 1999 December 2002 in order to determine the intrauterine transmission rate presence virus amniotic fluid fetal tissues by nested PCR. Thirty-three patients presented before 12 weeks gestation 27 after weeks. Gestational age at time acute was determined on basis date last menstruation first trimester ultrasound scan. Thirteen features submitted amniocentesis. Three products conception analyzed. The IgM IgG analyzed neonatal samples birth 3 months using a capture immunoassay. Newborn follow-up based congenital syndrome-compatible defects, anti-rubella antibodies, echocardiographic alterations, brainstem evoked response audiometry, ophthalmological pathology. Five miscarriages four deaths observed group presenting gestation. detected seven neonates age. Deafness three cases pigmentary retinopathy one case. Fourteen 16 (13 tissue samples) virological analysis tested positive. Four deaths, five (one negative virology) newborns and/or There which positive (infected) while newborn showed no syndrome absent. When maternal occurred gestation, or observed. Eradication is possible since vaccination campaigns continue all services related health care children, adolescents have become aware significance problem are collaborating. All Brazil should be screened for antibody susceptible vaccinated giving birth.
