摘要: The spectrum of the quantization error in a dithered sigma-delta modulator is derived under constraint that dithering signal does not cause overload. results apply to DC, sinusoidal, and more general quasi-stationary signals. It shown case simple modulation no-overload can smooth make asymptotically uncorrelated with input. not, however, white. In multistage appropriate dithering, becomes white, even for system only two stages. signal-to-quantization-noise ratio (SQNR) oversampled analog-to-digital conversion additive dithering. Simulation results, are presented support theoretical analysis. >
