摘要: This paper describes a low cost, 3-dimensional subband scheme for digital high-definition TV (HDTV) signals coding. As key steps the bit-rate reduction we introduce idea of motion-adaptive selection as well quantization taking in consideration Human Visual System (HVS) spatio/temporal frequency domain. The proposed also allows compatible coding between and HDTV applications.
