摘要: In this study, the discriminatory power of pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) and random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) methods for subtyping 54 clinical isolates Klebsiella pneumoniae were compared. All typeable by RAPD, while 3.6% them not PFGE. The repeatability both typing 100% with satisfying reproducibility (≥ 95%). Although PFGE was greater than showed sufficient (DI > 0.95) which reflects heterogeneity among K. isolates. An optimized RAPD protocol is less technically demanding time consuming that makes it a reliable method competitive
