摘要: This paper proposes a new bridgeless single-stage half-bridge ac-dc converter for power factor correction. The proposed integrates the boost rectifier with asymmetrical pulse-width modulation dc-dc converter. provides an isolated dc output voltage without using any full-bridge diode rectifier. Conduction losses are lowered by eliminating Zero-voltage switching of switches reduces losses. gives high efficiency, factor, and low cost. effectiveness is verified on 250 W (48 V/5.2 A) experimental prototype. achieves efficiency 93.0% almost unity at 90 Vrms line voltage.
