摘要: PURPOSE: The aim of this study is to present the prognosis and possible associated prognostic factors after curative resection rectal leiomyosarcoma. METHODS: From 1979 1996 our hospital saw 40 patients with leiomyosarcoma, including 19 females, who did not have metastasis initially received regular postoperative follow-up. RESULTS: mean age was 58.7 years. Anal bleeding perianal pain were two most common symptoms at initial diagnosis. Twenty-nine a radical surgical resection, such as abdominoperineal or low anterior resection; other 11 wide local excision, transrectal excision Kraske's operation. Sixteen tumors classified high-grade 23 grade. Nineteen (48 percent) developed recurrence postoperatively (median follow-up, 35 months). overall disease-free (1-year, 3-year, 5-year) survival rates 97, 90, 75 percent 59, 46 percent, respectively. In univariate analysis, younger group (<50 years, n=9,P=0.033) leiomyosarcoma (P=0.043) showed poorer in curve. multivariate Cox model, gender, tumor size, location, operation type significantly affect survival, whereas histologic grade (P=0.037) divided by level 50 years (P=0.009) shown be independent factors. There strong trend toward higher rate for than (55vs. 24 percent,P=0.067) despite being composed smaller (5.1vs. 7.5 cm,P=0.069). no difference incidence distant between groups different types. 27 38 CONCLUSION: A years) high significant poor Radical may superior prevention but metastasis.
