摘要: Abstract A chrome-free chemical conversion coating was deposited on the surface of AZ91 magnesium alloy in a solution containing molybdate and cerium nitrate within short time. The morphology, composition structure were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray photoelectron (XPS) diffraction (XRD). corrosion resistance investigated polarization curves. results show that homogeneous with some small cracks. mainly composed MoO 3 , 2 CeO Ce O MgO Mg(OH) . potential for treated sample shifted positively approximately 90 mV from − 1.54 V to − 1.45 V, current density decreased two orders magnitude compared substrate.
