摘要: The demonstration of a defect in insulin-mediated glucose metabolism essential hypertension has raised the interest both “metabolists,” who have gained new insight into pathogenesis insulin resistance, and “hypertensionologists,” focused attention on cardiovascular actions insulin. Although metabolic consequences resistance are well established, there differing views regarding its impact blood pressure (BP) homeostasis. Whether high BP common genetic basis, or whether they share pathogenetic links (in this case, one affects other stem from abnormality) is still debated. These possibilities under active investigation, although comprehensive explanation for observed association not yet available, effort rapidly led to accumulation physiologically relevant information. In present chapter, we shall try separate facts opinions with full cognizance that scope will be entirely met. Particularly complex issue, some degree bias inevitable.
