摘要: Abstract Aluminum salts of phosphinic acid mixture diisobutylphosphinic and monoisobutylphosphinic (HPA-2TBA-Al) glass fibres were compounded with polyamide 6 to prepare a series flame retardant GF/PA6 composites via melt blending. The retardance burning behaviors the investigated by limiting oxygen index (LOI), vertical test (UL-94), Cone calorimeter test. thermal properties decomposition kinetics thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) under N 2 atmosphere. Addition HPA-2TBA-Al results in an increased LOI value, UL-94 V-0 rating together decrease both values PHRR THR calorimetric analysis. Visual observations scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) after tests confirmed char-formation which acts as fire barrier condense phase. Analysis cone data indicates that gas phase mechanism exists GFPA6/HPA-2TBA-Al system.
