Endovascular treatment of intracranial arteriovenous malformations

摘要: Background. The aim of the study was introduction endovascular interventional treatment cerebral arteriovenous malformations (AVM) with superselective embolization cyanoacrylic polymerisation agent. Case reports. Endovascular performed in five patients AVMs. Three these were presented intracerebral haemathomas whereas other two patients, AVM an incidental finding. Superselective catheterisation AVMs and acrylic glue selectively injected into nidus. Conclusions. Control angiography after showed different results. In one patient, totally occluded three sessions second case a single session. rate occlusion cases estimated between 70% 80%. Both underwent surgery. One patient is still process treatment. liquid cyanoacrilyc adhesive agent safe effective alternative paths next to microsurgery. combination radiosurgery could become method choice therapy future.
