摘要: It is now some 15 yr since de Bold and Sonnenberg colleagues discovered that the injection of atrial extracts into rats gave rise to a profound diuresis, natriuresis, hypotension (1). Within very short time following this discovery it was shown agent responsible for effect 28-amino acid, disulfide-bonded peptide given variety names by different investigators but known as natriuretic (ANP) (2). The ANP its biological effects heralded new era research on control maintenance blood pressure body volume, well specific role played ANP. Because coincided with development improved techniques in protein sequencing rapid advances recombinant DNA technology, structure precursor-pro-ANP gene accomplished quickly. At same large amount information being gathered physiology pharmacology unique peptide. pace so reviews were written within 2–3 (2,3).
