摘要: We used meta-analytic methods to examine the influence of acute exercise on sleep. Thirty-eight studies were reviewed yielding 211 effects 401 subjects. Mean effect sizes calculated for sleep onset latency (SOL), stage 2, slow-wave (SWS), rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, REM (REM-L), total time (TST), and wakefulness after (WASO). Moderating influences subject fitness, heat load, duration, day, associated light environment (i.e. indoor or outdoor), schedule, scientific quality examined. Effect SWS, REM, REM-L, TST moderate [0.18-0.52 standard deviation (SD)] their 95% confidence intervals did not include zero. Exercise duration day most consistent moderator variables. In contrast with previous hypotheses, load had little The results our quantitative synthesis literature are inconsistent narrative reviews (1,2) which suggested that elicits larger changes in than those quantified this meta-analysis. A major delimitation published has been an exclusive focus good sleepers. Hence, we report herein may be underestimates efficacy enhancing among people disturbances.
