摘要: Alopecia areata has been reported to be accompanied by abnormal autoimmune dysfunction. We examined the expression of cutaneous lymphocyte-associated antigen (CLA), which is a skin-specific lymphocyte homing receptor, in peripheral blood lymphocytes and skin patients with alopecia areata. In patients' blood, percentage CLA-positive CD4 + or CD8 lymphocytes, was significantly higher than that normal controls. The severe progressive showed much CLA-positivity compared recovering from disease. A chronological study CD4+ CD8+ decreased parallel good clinical course. who did not respond oral corticosteroid therapy remained those responded well treatment. affected scalp skin, many infiltrating around hair follicles, were expressed CLA. These findings suggest correlates activity may play an important role
