摘要: The performance and kinetics of the activated sludge process treating wastewaters freshwater salinewater (10 g/l NaCl 30 NaCl) origin were investigated using bench-scale, completely mixed reactors operated at different biological solids retention times (BSRT9s) in range 3 to 20 d organic loadings 0.5 2.0 kg COD/kg VSS.d. It has been found that (COD or TOC) removal efficiency effluent quality system not deteriorated as a result constant application acclimated biomass. However, salinity increased. salt did inhibit biomass growth under experimental conditions studied but rather increased concentration due selection tolerant microbial species. demonstrated kinetic models developed for can be used successfully system. Biokinetic coefficients determined which design.
