摘要: Abstract The salinity effect on a biofilm membrane bioreactor (biofilm-MBR) was investigated to treat shipboard wastewater. permeability decreased and poorer permeate quality obtained when salt shocks (influent concentration: 30 g/L NaCl for 3 h, 6 h, 9 h respectively) took place. On long duration step tests, better performance with lower fouling rate observed smaller concentration increments occurred, acclimation of the taking place time. Results indicate that mechanism is quite complicated fluctuation feed water salinity, where SMPs concentrations resulting from microorganisms’ response and/or variation play main role in fouling. However, surface charge effects particles starts dominate increasing concentration.
