摘要: Two pilot plant systems were investigated for the treatment of wastewater subject to a gradual increase salinity. In particular, membrane bioreactor (MBR) and moving bed biofilm (MB-MBR) analyzed. Carbon ammonium removal, kinetic constants membranes fouling rates have been assessed. Both plants showed very high efficiency in terms carbon removal salinity led good acclimation biomass, as confirmed by respirometric tests. Significant detachments from carriers experienced, which contributed irreversible superficial cake deposition. However, this aspect prevented pore tendency module MB-MBR system. On contrary, MBR pilot, even showing lower deposition, was characterized higher tendency.
