摘要: Abstract Eleven anti-neurofilament (anti-NF) monoclonal antibodies were studied for their reactivity with heat-stable, microtubule-associated proteins and Alzheimer neurofibrillary tangles (ANT). On immunoblots of NF proteins, the recognized epitopes that variably sensitive to Escherichia coli alkaline phosphatase. Eight showed ANT decreased binding electroblotted after phosphatase treatment. The same eight reacted tau from bovine rat brain, was also substantially reduced by Of bound animal five normal human brain. All stained in frozen tissue sections. Brief treatment sections trypsin most cases enhanced antibody ANT. lacked failed bind Phosphatase did not change immunoreactivity neurites senile plaques ANT-reactive, anti-NF antibodies, except two In contrast, axonal staining or eliminated treatment, similar response proteins. These results suggest may be due cross-reaction axons, NF, are effect phosphatase, whereas majority those not, some shared readily accessible binding.
