摘要: This paper describes the New Millennium Remote Agent (NMRA) architecture for autonomous spacecraft control systems. The supports challenging requirements of domain not usually addressed in mobile robot architectures, including highly reliable operations over extended time periods presence tight resource constraints, hard deadlines, limited observability, and concurrent activity. A hybrid architecture, NMRA integrates traditional real-time monitoring with heterogeneous components constraint-based planning scheduling, robust multi-threaded execution, model-based diagnosis reconfiguration. Novel features this integrated include support closed-loop generation execution temporal plans a procedural/deductive executive. We implemented prototype agent within successfully demonstrated context mission scenario on simulated spacecraft. As result success, has been selected to fly as an autonomy experiment Deep Space One (DS-1), first flight NASA‘s Program (NMP), which will launch 1998. It be AI system autonomously actual
