摘要: Optical conductors, useful in the transmission of data-encoding light beams, that comprise an optically transmissive rod carrying one or more cavities, each with a border defining inclined planar surface, can be produced via method comprising steps (1) coating rod, plasma-assisted physical vapor deposition, amorphous material lower refractive index than rod's; and (2) rendering surface light-reflective. The sequence reversed.
