摘要: Research suggests that the formation of neighborhood social ties (NSTs) may substantially depend on informal contact which occurs in common spaces, and inner-city neighborhoods where spaces are often barren no-man's lands, presence trees grass supports space use among neighbors. We found for 145 urban public housing residents randomly assigned to 18 architecturally identical buildings, levels vegetation predict both NSTs; further, mediated relationship between NSTS.
