The social production of ecosystem services: lessons from urban resilience research

摘要: With accelerating urbanization it is crucial to understand how urban ecosystems play a part in generating ecosystem services for dwellers, such as clean water, spaces recreation, stress relief and improved air quality. An equally important question relate who gets enjoy these benefits, i.e. the distribution of services, issues power equity influence management ecosystems. Through case studies from landscape Stockholm, this doctoral thesis engages with perspectives through combining ecological theory social theory, including network analysis, actor-network movement theory. Strategies improve are presented along frameworks analyze relation natural resource management.Paper I shows that can be studied analyzing structure networks, patterns relations between agencies, stake-holders user groups.
