摘要: The effects of hyperoxia on the status antioxidant defenses and markers oxidative damage were evaluated in goldfish tissues. levels lipid peroxides, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances, carbonyl proteins activities some enzymes measured brain, liver, kidney skeletal muscle goldfish, Carassius auratus L., over a time course 3-12 h exposure followed by 12 or 36 normoxic recovery. Exposure to high oxygen resulted an accumulation protein carbonyls tissues throughout recovery whereas peroxides substances accumulated transiently under short-term stress (3-6 h) but then strongly reduced. This suggests that stimulated enhancement against peroxidation mechanisms for enhancing catabolism products. principal enzymes, superoxide dismutase catalase, not altered catalase increased during recovery; may rise anticipation further hyperoxic excursions. In most tissues, glutathione-utilizing (glutathione peroxidase, glutathione-S-transferase, glutathione reductase) as well glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, affected sharply Correlations between enzyme found, example, inverse correlation was seen glutathione-S-transferase activity liver dehydrogenase kidney. results suggest plays important role detoxifying end products stress.
