摘要: Pseudoscalar meson decay leads to an entangled state of charged leptons (μ, e) and massive neutrinos. Tracing out the neutrino degrees freedom a reduced density matrix for whose off-diagonal elements reveal lepton oscillations. Although these decohere on unobservably small time scales 10 −23 s they indicate mixing as result common intermediate states. The self-energy up one loop features flavor terms responsible mixing: dominant “short distance” contribution with W bosons neutrinos in state, subdominant “large pseudoscalar mesons state. Mixing angle(s) are GIM suppressed, momentum chirality dependent. difference negative angles near muon electron mass shells is θL(M 2 μ) − e ) ∝ GF U μj m ∗ je mj Recent results from TRIUMF, suggest upper bound θL(p M )< −14 (MS /100 MeV) generation heavy sterile MS .
