摘要: It has been recently shown that puzzling excess events observed by the LSND and MiniBooNE neutrino experiments could be interpreted as a signal from radiative decay of heavy sterile ({nu}{sub h}) mass 40 to 80 MeV, with muonic mixing strength |U{sub {mu}h}|{sup 2{approx_equal}}10{sup -3}-10{sup -2}, lifetime 10{sup -11}< or approx. {tau}{sub h} < -9} s. We discuss bounds on 2} obtained recent precision measurements muons show they are consistent above limits. If {nu}{sub exists its admixture in ordinary muon kaon would result chain {mu}{yields}e{nu}{sub e{nu}h{yields}}e{nu}{sub e{gamma}{nu}} K{yields}{mu}{nu}{sub h{yields}{mu}{gamma}{nu}}, respectively. propose new experiment for sensitive search these processes {mu} K decays at rest allowing either definitively confirm exclude existence h}. To our knowledge, no specifically searched signature massive neutrinos particle proposed this work. The is complementary current experimental efforts clarify origin anomalies.
