摘要: We present the acoustic analog of resonant tunneling through a double barrier in quantum mechanics. Pairs identical phononic crystals, both 2D and 3D, were assembled separated by uniform spacer, forming cavity. The ultrasonic transmission exhibits peaks at frequencies inside band gaps, where ultrasound each crystal occurs. On resonance, measured group time is large even predicted to increase exponentially with thickness crystals absence absorption, while off resonance very fast speeds are found.
