摘要: In patients without significant collaterals, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) produces acute transient ischemia that is detectable in both standard electrocardiograms (ECG) and body surface potential maps (BSPMs). Control recordings made before or between inflations provide personalized baselines, which isolate the effects of from interpatient differences, such as torso shape electrode location. this study, two methods evaluating PTCA-induced BSPM are presented. first method, an ECG inverse solution estimates epicardial potentials signals using a realistic model geometry applied. The strength method lies its ability to localize areas cardiac on surface. second approach, wavelet transforms were used perform multiresolution decomposition data into different frequency bands. basis functions transform time-limited narrow band hence can be expected sensitive features originate discrete electrophysiologic events, intrusion activation front onto regions arrhythmias due local conduction abnormalities. also offers means temporal localization events related initiation injury currents abnormal ischemia. each offer new views spatial courses potentially leading diagnostic insights patient examination.
