摘要: Vaginal ultrasound is a new technique for the investigation of lower urinary tract in women with incontinence. High frequency endoprobes reduced external dimensions permit dynamic assessment bladder outlet recumbent, sitting and erect positions [1]. Previous radiological techniques have included bead-chain cystourethrography (BCUG) [2] video- (VCUG) [3]. The aspects BCUG are limited to displacement neck during Valsalva manoeuvre. Synchronous VCUG, concurrent pressure measurements, permits nature timing leakage contrast media be imaged result that it has been adopted, some quarters, as “reference standard” diagnosis stress incontinence [4]. Both techniques, however, require exposure X-rays, urethral catheterisation, established facilities experienced staff.
