摘要: A wealth of data and services are available on the Web, often have geographical context as well. But vast quantity offered geospatial information is rather difficult to explore, its quality hard assess, due lack sufficient metadata. Hence, Open Geospatial Consortium has specified application profiles for publishing, accessing, searching over collections spatial metadata with standardized Catalogue Services Web (CSW). Unfortunately, existing remain largely unexploited by Semantic technologies. In this paper, we introduce TripleGeo-CSW, a middleware that can be used discover from CSWs through virtual SPARQL endpoint. Acting broker between request (in SPARQL) catalogue XML/GML), platform provide on-the-fly (as RDF triples) geodata according multiple, user-specified criteria (e.g., area interest, date last update, keywords). As proof concept, set up an instance against public authorities across Europe, which involve datasets complying EU INSPIRE Directive. Our experience testifies TripleGeo-CSW assist stakeholders repurpose minimal overhead readily expose Web.
