摘要: Abstract Gypsophila sphaerocephala is a naturally Boron (B) tolerant species that can grow around the B mining areas in Turkey, where concentration soil reaches lethal dose for plants (up to ∼8900 mg kg −1 (∼140 mM). While its interesting survival capacity extremely containing soils, any molecular research has been conducted understand high tolerance mechanism yet. In present study, we have performed proteomic analysis of this plant towards B-stress. Seedlings G. were collected from area and adapted greenhouse conditions. An excessive level Boric acid (3 mM)was applied plantlets 24 h. Total proteins precipitated by using TCA/Acetone method. 2D-PAGE (two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis) was carried out. Out 121 protein spots, 14 differentially expressed between control B-exposed roots. The peptide profile each determined MALDI-TOF mass spectrometer after in-gel trypsin digestion. identified are involved different mechanisms cell such as antioxidant mechanism, energy metabolism, degradation, lipid biosynthesis signaling pathways, indicating multiple cooperating protect itself levels. Overall, study sheds light on possible regulatory switches (gene/s) controlling B-tolerance their roles plant’s defense mechanism.
