摘要: BackgroundMaternal breast milk (MBM) is enriched in microRNAs, factors that regulate protein translation throughout the human body. MBM from mothers of term and preterm infants differs nutrient, hormone, bioactive-factor composition, but microRNA differences between these groups have not been compared. We hypothesized gestational age at delivery influences MBM, particularly microRNAs involved immunologic metabolic regulation.MethodsMBM premature (pMBM) obtained 3-4 weeks post was compared with birth (tColostrum) (tMBM). The profile lipid skim fractions each sample evaluated high-throughput sequencing.ResultsThe expression profiles nine pMBM differed those tMBM. Gene targets were functionally related to elemental metabolism biosynthesis. tColostrum also distinct pMBM, it clustered closely Twenty-one correlated demonstrated limited relationships method delivery, other maternal-infant factors.ConclusionPremature results a unique targets. This suggests may adaptive functions for growth infants.
