摘要: DOG1 (discovered on GIST 1), known also as TMEM16A and ANO1, has emerged in recent years a promising biomarker for gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST). It was originally discovered through microarray expression profiling analysis gene that is highly expressed GIST, subsequent immunohistochemical studies have shown its use diagnosis. The results from several series high overall sensitivity specificity the detection of GISTs about 6% exhibiting DOG1+/KIT-immunoprofile. antibodies are more sensitive than KIT detecting gastric origin, with epithelioid morphology, harboring PDGFRA mutation. Furthermore, immunoreactivity rarely observed other mesenchymal nonmesenchymal tumor types. These support diagnostic GIST. When used combination KIT, this panel biomarkers can help pathologists clinicians to identify patients who may benefit targeted therapies.
