摘要: The population genetics of lichen fungi and their photobionts have been studied for several decades. In this review, we first focus on basic questions in recent current experimental approaches. Then, discuss the utility single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers how various high-throughput sequencing (HTS) techniques that allow SNP genotyping can contribute to studies lichens, highlighting respective advantages limitations specific types research questions. We review emergence Lobaria pulmonaria as a model system biology, enabled by use microsatellite markers. Finally, open field, steps could be taken increase our understanding genomics merits HTS determining intrathalline diversity symbionts associated organisms. era may turn out an exciting time lichenology similar period following invention microscope.
