摘要: We have investigated the role of myelinating glia in events associated with propagation action potential at nodes Ranvier using combinations optical and electrophysiological recording methods. Calcium transients were observed Schwann cells by fluorescent imaging nodal complex fibers loaded calcium-sensitive dye fluo3-AM. To follow [Ca2+]i changes neuronal activity node Ranvier, nerves fluo3 imaged during axonal activation laser-scanning confocal microscopy. elucidate sources transients, we tested effects drugs known to alter [Ca2+]i. response these subsequently blocked ryanodine if was present a previous transient. Bath applications caffeine induced which could be ryanodine. These findings indicate that calcium-activated calcium release occurs impulse activity.
