摘要: Aim of study: Cork oak is one the main forest tree species in Portugal that typically occurs montado, where operational practices oriented to tree, crop or animal management may influence several ecosystem components. This study aimed at contributing fulfil a lack knowledge on effect these cork and wood growth, by comparing diameter growth annual increment under two different understory options. Material methods: An experimental trial implemented an uneven-aged pure stand during rotation period 9 years, was established with specific goal options: yellow lupine pasture versus spontaneous vegetation. samples were taken beginning end used measure thickness rings. The differences between treatments assessed performing non-parametric test more robust approach using linear mixed model. Precipitation treatment levels jointly considered analysis. Main results: A slight found regarding application. However, no distinct found, pattern. Additionally, ring width showed positive correlation precipitation negative age. Research highlights: results this indicate pattern when
