摘要: Abstract An unprecedented expansion of household photovoltaic (PV) systems coincided with a marked decline in electricity demand several jurisdictions around the world. This was driven by falling PV prices and installation more energy efficient residential appliances (EE). However, existing net metering arrangements value self-consumption far than exports to grid. As result, savings from EE that considerably reduce could also systems. Since generally utilise only part distribution grid, ‘local generation network credits’ (LGNCs) have been proposed increase exports. LGNCs potential improve combined EE. Given large variability load time-varying structure LGNCs, an empirical probabilistic method is this paper order assess PV-EE LGNC arrangements. The results show how simplistic feed-in tariffs adverse impact on can assist removing barriers uptake these two key clean technologies.
