摘要: Responses of Scenedesmus quadricauda grown in vitro and differing age (old culture-13 months, young culture-1 month) to short-term cadmium (Cd) or nickel (Ni) excess (24h) were compared. Higher the culture led lower amount chlorophylls, ascorbic acid glutathione but higher signal ROS. Surprisingly, sucrose was detected using DART-Orbitrap MS both old subsequent quantification confirmed its (ca. 3-times) culture. Cd affected viability ROS more negatively than Ni that could arise from excessive uptake which also all treatments respective counterparts. nitric oxide not extensively different response metals. Strong induction phytochelatin 2 is certainly Cd-specific while elevated ascorbate content. Krebs cycle acids accumulated they rather (citric under excess). We conclude organic solid 'Milieu Bristol' medium we tested suitable for long-term storage unicellular green algae (also successfully Coccomyxa sp. Parachlorella sp.) impact on metal may be useful bioremediation purposes.
