摘要: A reduction in the mortality secondary to relapse, infections, graft versus host disease, and other acute transplant related complications is leading improved survival rates thus an ever-increasing population of hematopoietic cell (HCT) survivors. For survivors HCT during childhood, late effects can have a significant adverse impact on their overall functional outcomes quality life. This chapter will highlight what we are learning about long-term risks that may either be preventable with appropriate monitoring screening or manageable interventions. It increasingly important our educated regarding potential they continue receive periodic evaluations by providers who knowledgeable unique issues face.
