摘要: We review the studies on links between obesity, immune system and lifestyle (limited or excessive calorie intake) that provoke changes in current therapeutic course. There is no doubt positive energy balance of body affects cells, consequently, intracellular pathways, leading to disruption their func- tion. Research suggests metformin, a drug long used treat diabetes, an alternative remedy treatment increases activity 5-adenosinemonophosphate (AMP)-activated kinase (AMPK). Thus, this comes conclusion alongside traditional methods, such as reducing intake increasing expenditure body, outcome may be improved by implementing drugs affecting AMPK. In future, other new options available. The targeting receptors immunocompetent cells residing adipose tissue help reduce effects obesity.
