摘要: Abstract In this paper the utilization of cyanobacteria Anabaena sp. in carbon dioxide removal processes is evaluated. For this, continuous cultures strain were performed at different dilution rates; alternatives for recovery organic matter produced being also studied. A maximum CO 2 fixation rate 1.45 g L −1 day was measured experimentally, but it can be increased up to 3.0 g outdoors. The mainly transformed into exopolysaccharides, biomass representing one third total produced. Organic recovered by sedimentation with efficiencies higher than 90%, velocity 2 · 10 −4 s . major compounds carbohydrates and proteins productivities 0.70 0.12 g L , respectively. behaviour has been modelized, characteristics parameters requested design separation units reported. Finally, valorizate as biofertilizers biofuels proposed.
