摘要: Background: • The integrity of the blood-aqueous barrier (BAB) was analyzed using an immunohistochemical technique for demonstration albumin. Methods: Paraffin sections 36 normal eyes obtained from eye banks or at autopsy (mean age 62.8 ± 15.2 years) and 46 with marked iris neovascularization 54.6 25.3 were formalin-fixed examined rabbit anti-human Results: In eyes, albumin staining found in stroma inside outside vessels but not detected across anterior border; present chamber one eye, internal to nonpigmented ciliary epithelium. rubeotic extended along anteri all cases; demonstrated 31 epithelium 13 eyes. Differences between significant intensity presence iris, within chamber, (P < 0.001, χ2 test). Conclusion: Our findings indicate that BAB may be less resistant leakage than breakdown occurred mainly iris; much involved. Immunohistochemical appears useful evaluating human pathologic specimens.
